Always the naughty one, gran taught me my first swear word and at 11 years, gran was my english project, demonstrating local dialects.  We learnt new words like ‘doo-ee’, ‘vorze’, with a fair amount of ‘oo my’. She sang me to sleep with such classics as ‘ baby blew a bubble’ and then woke us up before 6 am vacuuming. We will miss you gran. X
