Kate and I took  Mum to watch  Kidderminster
V Exeter in an early FA Cup round. Having contacted the club to ask them to announce that a dear old lady was there for a birthday treat and to seat her near the pitch, which they did. During  the match this dear 85 year old cursed the ref.the linesman and anyone not from Exeter!!

I stayed with mum for nine months after my divorce and it was just moments of laughter. Her favourite tricks were to scare me in the middle of the night when I trundled to the loo and mum would jump out of the airing cupboard or grab my ankle from the stairs. There was never a cross word and she was like a comfort blanket  after a really bad emotional time for me.  A little lady with a massive heart
