Fond memories of Auntie Peg by Helen

Created by Helen 2 years ago

When I was very young I remember visiting Evesham in the summer holidays and picking apples and plums in the orchards. Such a simple thing was turned into an entertaining afternoon by Peg and her cheerful personality. Whatever we did when we visited was guaranteed to be great fun when Peg was involved.

In later years she came down to Torquay to stay and it was wonderful to catch up after not seeing her for so long. It was nice that she was able to see her great niece, Chantelle, who had not long been born. Unfortunately we did not meet up again in person, but I am thankful for the wonderful memories I have to look back on, of this kind and fun lady who will be truly missed.
